We offer a one-of-a-kind Visiting program that allows our faculty, fellows and alumni the opportunity to work for your health care facility. We just need to match up their availability with your need.

Our Vision and Mission

Our goal is to reduce the risks associated with physician shortages and the resultant disparities in patient outcomes, education and quality leadership in health care systems.

Partnering with health care organizations of all sizes, we create high-level quality improvement programs that mitigate the impact of physician shortages and treatment shortfalls. We do this by leveraging the extensive faculty and resources of Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School. With the expertise of our faculty we provide customized solutions for provisional clinical services, telehealth, interim leadership personnel, continuing medical education, as well as, clinical and financial consultation.

Menu of Services Offered

Provisional Clinical Services

Use physicians and psychologists trained at Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School to help mitigate shortages within your organization. We have the ability to lend our highly trained staff to you on a short-term or long-term basis to fill any needs across most specialties. This guarantees your community has access to world-class patient care no matter where you are located.

We can also provide staff to academic institutions in order to provide coverage when faculty members are absent; supervise medical students; provide leadership to residents or fellows; lead grand rounds; and more.

TeleHealth

Massachusetts General Hospital telehealth options can help mitigate staff shortages or provide coverage at key times. It offers an easy-to-use virtual technology solution that includes phone, video, text, email, mobile applications and remote monitoring.

Interim Leadership

Our senior physician leaders can step in to help guide health care facilities on a temporary basis until you identify a permanent solution. If needed, during this time they can also develop and implement new clinical and quality improvement initiatives.

Clinical and/or Financial Consultation

High-level physicians and administrators from Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School can offer their experience to help health care facilities develop, launch and support clinical care and quality improvement initiatives. Using a proven and systematic approach, they can tailor these programs to unique organizational, revenue and patient needs.

Continuing Medical Education

Education has been a constant at Massachusetts General Hospital for our entire 200-year history. Our education development experts can create printed, live or online CME/CE programs tailored to your unique training and patient care needs. This frees your staff from travel or time off and provides clinical education that is relevant to your local needs.
