Dr. Abrams is an assistant professor of Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School and a staff member of the child psychiatry consultation liaison service and the child psychiatrist for the pediatric hematology oncology unit at Massachusetts General Hospital. She has authored numerous chapters on child psychiatry consultation including the recent Child Psychiatry Consultation chapter in Rutter’s Textbook of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. She has also lectured locally and nationally on psychiatric issues for the physically ill child.
