Annah N Abrams, MD is the Chief of the Division of Pediatric Psycho-Oncology, an attending physician on the Child Psychiatry consultation service at Massachusetts General Hospital for Children and an Assistant Professor at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Abrams was named one of Boston Magazine’s Top Doctors in 2016 and 2017. She has been in clinical practice for more than 20 years. Her specific areas of clinical interests are psychiatric issues of children with cancer including depression, anxiety and posterior fossa syndrome. Dr. Abrams has authored numerous chapters and articles on child psychiatry, consultation and psychosocial oncology. She recently co-edited Pediatric Psychosocial Oncology: Textbook for Multidisciplinary Care. A national expert in her field, she has been involved in establishing psychosocial standards of care in Pediatric Oncology. Dr. Abrams has lectured locally and nationally on psychiatric issues for children with cancer and other medical illnesses.
