Felicia A. Smith, MD is the director of the MGH/McLean Adult Psychiatry Residency Program. She is a graduate of Middlebury College and the University of Vermont College of Medicine. Dr. Smith completed her residency at MGH/McLean followed by the MGH Psychosomatic Fellowship. She served as attending on the MGH Consultation-Liaison Service and as director of the MGH Acute Psychiatry Service prior to becoming program director in 2012.

Dr. Smith’s major clinical interests include the study and care of co-occurring psychiatric diagnoses in the medically ill as well as improving psychiatric emergency care of the mentally ill. She is additionally interested in the role of mind body medicine for both patient and resident wellness.
