Lieutenant Colonel Graeme Bicknell received his MSW from the University of Denverand was selected to Long Term Health Education and Training where he received his doctorate from the University of Texas at Austin in 2005. His dissertation focused on the impact of Company leadership style on the relationship between combat experience and post combat aggression and violence. Since being commissioned into the Army as a Social Work Officer in 1994, LTC Bicknell has successfully served in a variety of Command, clinical, staff and research positions. He has been operationally deployed to Haiti, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Bosnia and Egypt, additionally he deployed to Afghanistan in 2001. LTC Bicknell currently serves as the deputy chief of the Behavioral Health Division, US Army Medical Command.
