Dr. Bhasin is Assistant Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School and is also Director of Bioinformatics for the Genomics and Proteomics Center at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston. Dr. Bhasin is an experienced bioinformatician with a strong track record in computational vaccine design, functional genomics, proteomics and systems biology. He has published over 50 scientific articles and created several tools and algorithms for data analysis. He is applying and developing systematic analysis strategies for high-throughput transcriptional profiling, epigenomics, genotyping, proteomics, and metabolomics data to improve molecular understanding of diseases and to identify novel diagnostics, prognostic and therapeutics biomarkers. He is leading development of computational approaches for systems-level integrative analysis of imaging, clinical and multidimensional genome-level data to identify key features driving disease.
