Yule, Amy, MD

Dr. Yule received her undergraduate degree from the University of California San Diego where she graduated cum laude. She attended the David Geffen School of Medicine at University of California Los Angeles. Dr. Yule completed her adult and child psychiatry training at Massachusetts General Hospital and McLean Hospital. She completed her addiction psychiatry training in the Partners Hospital program. Dr. Yule is now a staff child and adolescent psychiatrist in the Addiction Recovery Management Service and the West End Clinic at Massachusetts General Hospital. She is also an Instructor in Psychiatry at Harvard Medical School.

Dr. Yule was the 2012 recipient of the American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Pilot Research Award for Junior Faculty supported by Eli Lilly USA, LLC. With support and mentorship from Dr. Wilens she has been involved in research examining risk factors for the development of adolescent substance use disorders, specifically risk associated with active parental substance use. Dr. Yule plans on continuing to be involved in clinical research focused on adolescent substance use disorders. She is particularly interested in decreasing risky behaviors in adolescent substance users. She hopes to improve identification of adolescent substance users at high risk for unintentional opioid overdose.
