Our next Clinical Skills Verification Exam is scheduled to be held at the MGH Starr Center located at 185 Cambridge St. on the Mass General Hospital campus in Boston on Friday, May 15th  between 8 am – 4 pm for adult patient interviews only.  

The cost of the exam is $9500 and must be paid in full by this Friday, March 31st in order to secure your spot or we will have to offer your slot to another clinician. This is the only CSV we have scheduled for 2026.

CSV Price: $9,500 US Dollars  (must be paid in full at time of registration)

Cancellation Policy

A $500.00 administrative fee will be deducted for cancellations. Refund requests must be received in writing no later than 30 days before the scheduled Clinical Skills Verification. No refunds or credits will be made thereafter.

The Clinical Skills Verification exams are an important assessment of physicians and an opportunity to receive formative feedback, strengthen interviewing skills, and demonstrate clinical competency for American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN) certification.These critical assessments are an opportunity to receive formative feedback, strengthen interviewing skills, and demonstrate clinical competency. CSVs are an important step towards American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN) certification.

Our CSV program provides live patient interviews and other materials to help you navigate your CSV exams and prepare for your ABPN psychiatry certification exam.  

In addition, you get consultation time with clinical experts from the Massachusetts General Hospital Department of Psychiatry. They answer questions and provide guidance on clinical challenges you face in your interviews.

When you reserve a spot in our CSV program, it includes:

  • Up to four (4) live patient interviews at Massachusetts General Hospital. You receive direct feedback from three faculty members who use the ABPN CSV checklist to score your interviews.
  • A personal guide who accompanies you throughout your visit.
